Issue

The selected billing address disappears on the checkout payment page when address search is enabled and the Number of Customer Addresses Limit is set to 1.

Steps to reproduce

1. To enable Address Search, go to Stores > Configuration > Sales > Checkout > Checkout Options. 1. Set Number of Customer Addresses Limit to 1. 1. Create a customer and add two different addresses. 1. Add a product to the cart and proceed to checkout. 1. Click Change Address and use the popup to change the address. 1. Select Address 2 as the shipping address. 1. Click Next to proceed to the payment step. 1. Verify the billing and shipping address are the same. 1. Refresh the page without making the payment.

Adobe's page lists 2.4.7 - 2.4.7-p6 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.

Adobe scheduled the permanent fix for 2.4.9.

Install

Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-62146. On Cloud, add ACSD-62146 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.

For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-62146/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
