Issue
The move out of stock to bottom option does not work while sorting products in the Visual Merchandiser
Steps to reproduce
1. Install Adobe Commerce. 1. Go to Admin > Stores > Attributes > Product and create the following attributes. 1. Create a new website: Non-main. 1. Create a Non-main Store on this new website. 1. Create two stores: * First in the Main website Store. * Second in the Non-main Store. 1. Create two sources: * Letters. * Numbers. 1. Create two stocks: * First Main - sales channels: Main Website - assigned sources: Letters. * Second Non-main - sales channels: Non-main - assigned sources: Numbers. 1. Create three simple products on both websites, all in the Default category, all assigned to both sources: * ProductA - Qty 10 in Letters, Qty 0 in Numbers. * Product1 - Qty 0 in Letters, Qty 10 in Numbers. * ProductA1 - Qty 10 in Letters, Qty 10 in Numbers. 1. Go to Catalog > Categories and select Default category. 1. Change the scope to First. 1. Expand the Products in the Category section. 1. Pick the sort order as: move out of stock to bottom
Adobe's page lists 2.4.6 - 2.4.6-p3 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.
Adobe scheduled the permanent fix for 2.4.7.
Install
Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-56790. On Cloud, add ACSD-56790 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.
For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-56790/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
