Issue
Numeric product SKUs with leading zeros are trimmed when used in negotiable quotes, resulting in errors that prevent updating quantities or setting prices.
Steps to reproduce
1. Navigate to the product creation section in the admin panel. 1. Set the SKU for the product as 01910. 1. Log in to the storefront and perform the following operations: 1. Add product to the cart. 1. View and edit the cart. 1. Request a quote. 1. Go to admin > Quote > View and Add Products by SKU - 01910. Note: The SKU is displayed as 1910 instead of 01910. This discrepancy prevents the user from updating the quantity or setting prices, as no product with the SKU 1910 exists in the catalog.
Adobe's page lists 2.4.4 - 2.4.7-p3 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.
Adobe scheduled the permanent fix for 1.5.0.
Install
Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-55339. On Cloud, add ACSD-55339 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.
For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-55339/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
