Issue

The page loads slowly when adding a catalog widget product list with condition and attribute type boolean.

Steps to reproduce

1. Generate 100k products. 1. Create a bool attribute with the scope set to Store View. 1. Assign attribute to all attribute sets. * Assign the attribute value Yes to all products. 1. Now go to Catalog > Products, and select all 100k products. * Choose Actions > Update Attribute. * Set the bool attribute to Yes and save it. * If you logged out on this step, check the Notes. 1. Go to CLI and run php bin/magento queue:con:start product_action_attribute.update. * Make sure the attributes for all products are updated. 1. Now go to Content > Pages and create a new page. 1. Open Page Builder > Add row > Add Content > Products. 1. Choose Select Products By = Condition. 1. Set the condition Created attribute to Yes and save it. 1. Go to the frontend and open the created page. 1. Disable full page cache and block html cache. 1. Check the page loading speed. 1. Reload the page a few times and calculate the average loading time.

Adobe's page lists 2.3.7 - 2.4.5-p4 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.

Install

Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-54018. On Cloud, add ACSD-54018 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.

For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-54018/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
