Issue

Items in the Media Gallery are not sorted by position, leading to an incorrect display order.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create/Edit the product. 1. Add two or more images and save it. 1. Edit the same product, but this time, drag the last image to the first position. 1. Save the product. 1. Reindex. 1. Go to GraphQL client. 1. Run GraphQL query: { products(filter: { sku: { eq: "24-MB01" } }) { items { name sku url_key stock_status media_gallery { __typename ... on ProductVideo { video_content { video_url video_title __typename } __typename } ... on ProductImage { url __typename } position disabled } } total_count page_info { page_size } } }

Adobe's page lists 2.4.4 - 2.4.7-p2 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.

Adobe scheduled the permanent fix for 2.4.8.

Install

Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-59925. On Cloud, add ACSD-59925 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.

For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-59925/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
