Issue

The persistent cart feature fails when using the login pop-up during checkout because it lacks the Remember Me checkbox. This causes products to disappear from the cart after signing out.

Steps to reproduce

1. In the admin, configure the guest account and the persistent cart settings as follows: * Navigate to Stores > Settings > Configuration > Sales > Checkout > Checkout Options and set Allow Guest Checkout to No. * Click Save Config. * Navigate to Stores > Settings > Configuration > Customers > Persistent Shopping Cart > General Options and set Enable Persistence to Yes. * Leave all the other settings as default, but change Clear Persistence on Sign Out to No. * Click Save Config. 1. Go to Catalog > Products > Add product to add a simple product to the catalogue. * Fill in required minimum details and ensure it is in stock. 1. On the frontend create a customer account using the main form (../customer/account/create/) and sign out. 1. Add the product to the cart as a guest. 1. Open the mini-cart with the icon at the top right, then click View and Edit Cart. 1. Proceed to checkout. 1. Log in to the new customer account through the pop-up dialog that appears and sign out.

Adobe's page lists 2.4.4 - 2.4.7-p3 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.

Adobe scheduled the permanent fix for 2.4.8.

Install

Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-62481. On Cloud, add ACSD-62481 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.

For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-62481/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
