Issue

A generic error message shows up in the UI and the Array to string conversion exception occurs during UPS label creation.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a customer account with a valid address. 1. Go to Admin > Stores > Configuration > GENERAL > General > Store Information and add a valid address. 1. Go to Admin > Stores > Configuration > SALES > Shipping settings > Origin and add a valid address. 1. Go to Admin > Stores > Configuration > SALES > Delivery methods > UPS and configure UPS. 1. Place an order using UPS. 1. Remove the UPS user ID and password from core_config_data in the database. 1. Clean config cache. 1. Open the created order in the Admin. 1. Create a new shipment. 1. Select the Create Shipping Label checkbox. 1. Click Submit shipment. 1. Add the product to a package. Specify the package size (Length, Width, and Height). 1. Click Save.

Adobe's page lists 2.4.4 - 2.4.7-p4 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.

Adobe scheduled the permanent fix for 2.4.8.

Install

Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-64546. On Cloud, add ACSD-64546 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.

For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-64546/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
