Issue
JS errors occur on a staging update page when Google Analytics Content Experiments is enabled.
Steps to reproduce
1. In Admin > Stores > All Stores, create an additional website, store, and Store View. Make sure the Store View is Enabled. 1. Configure Configure Google Analytics by going to Stores > Settings > Configuration > Sales > Google API: * For Main and additional websites scope: * Enabled: Yes * Account type: Google Tag Manager * Anonymize IP: Yes * Enable Content Experiments: Yes * Container Id: (GTM container ID) * Uncheck Use Default for other fields, but do not change them. * For Default Config scope: * Enabled: Yes * Account type: Universal Analytics * Account Number: (Universal Analytics account number) * Anonymize IP: Yes * Enable Content Experiments: Yes 1. Disable Configure Google Analytics on Default Config scope by changing Enable from Yes to No. Make sure not to change anything else! 1. Go to Catalog > Categories. 1. Create and Edit any category and add a scheduled update for it: * Any name, start date in the future, end date in the future, and any change in category (For Example: disable category). 1. Save the update and check the browser developer console for errors.
Adobe's page lists 2.3.7 - 2.4.6 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.
Install
Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-48634. On Cloud, add ACSD-48634 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.
For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-48634/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
