Issue
Shopping cart error messages are not visible to admin users when managing a customer’s shopping cart on a non-default website.
Steps to reproduce
1. Log in to the Admin panel. 1. Update the configuration with the following values: 1. Set Share Customer Accounts to Per Website. 1. Set Catalog Price Scope to Website. 1. Set all indexers to On schedule. 1. Update the website structure as follows: 1. base / main_website_store / default (set this as the default website). 1. website_2 / website_2 / website 2. 1. Create a new customer from the Admin panel and associate the customer with Website = website_2. 1. Create the following configurable products: 1. conf_0: 1. Set the configurable attribute color = red. 1. In Product in Websites, assign the product to default and website_2. 1. conf_1: 1. Set the configurable attribute color = red. 1. In Product in Websites, assign the product to website_2. 1. Run the scheduled cron jobs. 1. Edit the website_2 customer and open Manage Shopping Cart. 1. Confirm that the website is set to website_2 by default. 1. Expand Add to Shopping Cart by SKU and add both products: 1. conf_0, qty 1 1. conf_1, qty 1 1. Click *Add selections to my cart. Alternatively, try adding the products separately. The system doesn't allow adding the global product (conf_0) and the website-specific product (conf_1) together.
Adobe's page lists 2.4.4 - 2.4.8-p3 as compatible; the versions below are resolved from the current QPT constraints and are the ones the tool will offer.
Adobe scheduled the permanent fix for 2.4.9.
Install
Install the Quality Patches Tool with composer require magento/quality-patches, apply the prerequisites listed for all files applicable to your distribution and version first, then run vendor/bin/magento-patches apply ACSD-69115. On Cloud, add ACSD-69115 under stage.build.QUALITY_PATCHES in .magento.env.yaml.
For cweagans/composer-patches, choose a compatible version below and download the bundle. Copy its ACSD-69115/ folder into patches/composer/, merge composer.patches.json into composer.json, then run composer install. Bundle prerequisites the same way and list them first. Paths are relative to each package root, using the default -p1 level. Prefer local files when configuring composer-patches; a remote URL can change.
